Grace Hospice is looking for a compassionate, creative Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our interdisciplinary care team.
In this role, you’ll use music therapy to support each patient’s emotional, physical and psychosocial needs while creating individualized experiences based on their preferences, strengths and goals. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your patient visit schedule while collaborating with a supportive team of hospice professionals.

What You’ll Do
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized music therapy plans of care.
  • Provide music therapy visits designed to promote comfort, connection and quality of life.
  • Adapt interventions as patient needs and goals change.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.
  • Participate in IDG meetings and Music Therapy team meetings.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Create meaningful legacy projects for patients and families using tools such as GarageBand.
  • Provide music for staff support, special events or community education as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current MT-BC certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
  • At least one year of music therapy experience; two or more years preferred.
  • Hospice or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Compassionate, creative and comfortable connecting with patients and families with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
